A multiple-choice question

If education must be reduced to standardized tests, we should ask John Ashbery to write the questions:

I am wondering if he selected the multiple choice answers from student responses to the prompt (initial part of the test item.)

That's how bad the choices seemed.

They do sound like bad answers, but I think that they (and the questions) are all from Ashbery’s marvelous and demotic imagination.
